There’s a new kid in town and I don’t like him!

“I just wanted to let you guys know the the novel I’m stuck in is coming out very soon. Since you can’t read it yet I’m stealing some words from my author and posting them here on my blog. What she doesn’t know won’t hurt her right? Anyway, this new kid comes into town and he’s from England. He’s a WICKED snob and thinks he’s all it. I guess he comes from money which is unfortunate for him because this side of town has none. (LOL) The funniest part is he’s moving into the town garbage dump cuz it’s his Uncle who owns it. How’s that for irony? I’m not sure why his parents sent him over here because it’s only chapter 1.”

Here’s the snippit from Chapter One…

Samuel Bernard Kingston III leaned out the window and waved the cloud of dust from his face. He reached into his coat pocket and pulled out the small yellow lined paper with an address on it. After confirming the writing with the crooked numbers on the house, he knew he was indeed in the right place. He reached back into that same pocket and pulled out a white linen handkerchief inscribed with his initials SBKIII. He dabbed it against his forehead knowing full well this was just the beginning of a most disturbing discovery.

“Whatever you do, don’t let anyone know I posted that. My author will have a fit if she finds out and probably write me into a corner, and I HATE small spaces.”

I invent things

Sometimes I think there’s something wrong with me. I count stairs when I go down them, if someone slaps my right hand – I need my left one slapped to match the feeling, and everything on my bureau needs to be placed at a 45 degree angle. Weird right? Probably something I shouldn’t admit. Anyway… that’s not the part of me that I think is weird. What I think is strange is that everytime I try to focus in my class at school, I start doodling in my notebook – I draw things I could build at home. I have a room full of things I built and in the front yard I have a few things that I didn’t build so well. Last night I tried to modify my TV to attach to my computer so I could have two screens (Mom can’t afford another screen for my computer and I really need two to do my work) but instead of working the TV caught fire and and I had to throw it out my bedroom window. Thank God I had my goggles on. I would’ve singed my eyelashes! Mom is gonna be VERY mad. She said one of these days I’m gonna burn the house down. I don’t think I will though and I don’t think I’m all that bad. I just invent things – I can’t help it, it’s what I do.

I see strange things…

You know that I normally see strange things right? Well lately I’ve been seeing even weirder things. Things I didn’t think up on my own. I’m wondering if it has something to do with what was in my little blue bottle? This clown is following me all around the new place I’m in – the place I landed in when I fell through a hole in the garbage dump. I’m stuck down here now.
